The very first Smoky Mountain Forge, VEX Robotics Signature Event, brought incredible energy to the Sevierville Convention Center. More than a thousand students, coaches, families, volunteers, and supporters filled the venue for four days of competition, collaboration, and unforgettable moments.

Teams from across the region—and far beyond—rolled into East Tennessee ready to compete, learn, and connect. Across both the Middle School and High School divisions, students showcased outstanding engineering, fierce strategy, gracious professionalism, and the kind of teamwork that makes the VEX Robotics community so special.

Smoky Mountain Forge wasn’t just a competition—it was a celebration of STEM, innovation, and the next generation of engineers and leaders. The friendships formed, challenges conquered, and victories won will stay with us long after the final match.

We cannot thank everyone enough for making our first year such a success. We are already looking forward to welcoming teams back to the Smokies for another unforgettable event.
